Only Culligan® water is served.

Arturo's is a favorite with residents of the Rio Grande Valley and with Winter Texans. Many of today's customers began eating here as children when they came with their families for Sunday dinner. The restaurant was established in 1956 at this location, although the current building was constructed in 1981 after a fire destroyed the original.

Broiled and roasted meats like no where else; Chateaubriand for 4 prepared table side, steaks, shish-kabob, Torneados Florentine and Cabrito.

The dessert cart is to die for, with baked Alaskan Flambee, (see above) Flan au Cognac, Pineapple Au Kirach Liqueur, Cajeta & Nuez Crepes, fruit with ice cream or sherbert and Chilled Mangos. Yum!

College kids love it

A lucky lady has her birthday celebrated with a candle in a dish of flan while being serenaded by three of the senior wait staff singing "happy birthday" or ¡Feliz cumpleaños!

A local young couple with their toddler, Mark Anthony, enjoy a drink and snacks.

Another multi-generational group enjoys the ambiance and the new color scheme of the completely redecorated restaurant.

That huge parking lot is where lots of folks head for when they cross the border. It's free…so long as you eat while you're there.

Just pick up a ticket from the vigilante and he'll watch your car until you return.
