Most of the action takes place on the main street, which is Av. Benito Juarez, although most folks just call it Main Street.  The map, which you can download and print, is presented upside down with South at the top.  This is done to keep you oriented to the bridge and the numbering of blocks starts with 1-East and 1 West to your left and right.  There are street signs on most intersections, but the map also includes major landmarks, so you won't get lost. The first five blocks account for about 90% of all the business in town and the distance is maybe one half mile from the bridge to Baja California, the end of the fifth block.

Curb cuts are available on the main street for those in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.

You can download our map that is done in Adobe Acrobat's pdf format and print it out.  If you don't have Acrobat or a printer, there are copies available at the Tourist booth located just after the Mexican customs office.  Copies are also available at merchants who advertise here at shop-progreso.com.

The copy below won't print very well, but does show you the layout.
